Jenny Tuck of Marino was posthumously awarded with the Community Recognition Award by the City of Holdfast Bay at the 2021 Australia Day ceremony.
Among Jenny's attributes was her love for the arts, her support for other local businesses and charitable organisations.
Jenny was described as the “heart and soul of the community”. “The world is a better place for having had her in it,” Holdfast Bay Mayor Amanda Wilson said at the ceremony.
Jenny, with partner Krysia Ciesiolkiewicz, own and manage Splashout Studios, an art school at Marino including a gallery at Brighton.

In accepting the award Krysia said,
"She had exceptional Leadership and Managerial skills and qualities; passion and drive for what she believed in; follow through when others would give up; outstanding communication skills; 100% Commitment."
