The Marion Council is starting a process of community consultation regarding the future of the Marino Community Hall and the adjacent land the council owns.

Two sections of the Coastal Walkway are set to be re-opened in October 2019.

Development Plan Amendment (DPA) by the City of Marion was put out for consultation in 2017.

What a great turn out for the “Meet the Candidates” event on Wednesday 3rd October. A huge thank you to all those that came along (80 + people), including Mayoral candidates for Holdfast Bay and Marion, Ward Councillor candidates from Seacliff Ward (Holdfast Bay) and Coastal Ward (Marion) and loads of 5049 community members.

There was generally in principle support for the idea behind increased housing diversity but with many reservations.
