On 28 September 2020 our local community came together to celebrate our local environment as part of the inaugural SA Nature Festival. Through an online (zoom) event, 6 local speakers shared their stories and connections to some of the special natural places in our area.  Sarah and her clean-freak sister, Ellie, have to battle not only the conspiracy of silence surrounding the jellyfish but also the modern hi-tech world and a self-serving evangelical pastor who is making a claim on their mother’s estate.  The Kid's Toy Market held at the Marino Community Hall on Sunday 10 November was a great success.  The government has announced a number of drop in sessions as part of the consultation process with community and other stakeholders.  The Annual General Meeting of the 5049 Coastal Community will be held on the 27th of November 2019. Nominations for roles on the 5049 Coastal Community Committee are open and due by November 6.
