On 28 September 2020 our local community came together to celebrate our local environment as part of the inaugural SA Nature Festival. Through an online (zoom) event, 6 local speakers shared their stories and connections to some of the special natural places in our area. 5049 Coastal Community Nature Celebration Event - A Great Success On 28 September 2020 our local community came together to celebrate our local environment as part of the inaugural SA Nature Festival. Through an online (zoom) event, 6 local speakers shared their stories and connections to some of the special natural places in our area. Listening to the various speakers reinforced the importance of spending time in nature, and the joy and reward that volunteering and being so deeply connected to these places can bring.
