Upcoming volunteer dates to beautify the gateway to Kingston House, Tjilbruke Springs and the caravan park. The 5049 Coastal Community Association succeeded in getting a Green Adelaide grant to beautify the verges and nature strips at Kingston Park with native plants. The only gateway to Kingston House, Tjilbruke Springs, the caravan park and beach deserves to look more welcoming.
Please help - we have 600 plants and need to prepare the soil, then plant and mulch. Holdfast Bay Council will assist by removing dolomite. Working Bees: Sat 26 June 9.30am - noon Sun 11 July 9.00am - 11.30am (Kind Neighbour event at Marino Hall from 12.30) Sat 24 July 9.30am - noon (but come & go as you please) Sun 8 Aug 9.30am - 4pm (but come & go as you please) Singleton Rd /Bandon Tce, Kingston Park - meet at the southern reserve just over the rail bridge. Please Bring Gloves, hat/raincoat depending on weather, diggers, mattocks, spades/shovels, rakes, watering cans, buckets, wheelbarrows.
