Sarah and her clean-freak sister, Ellie, have to battle not only the conspiracy of silence surrounding the jellyfish but also the modern hi-tech world and a self-serving evangelical pastor who is making a claim on their mother’s estate.
Back in 1995 there was an outbreak of a mysterious disease that was affecting victims causing their heads to explode but the authorities suppressed the news. Sarah stumbles across the story when she suspects that her younger sister, Tess, was a victim. It seems that a mutant jellyfish that has infiltrated the water supply is to blame but Sarah’s demand for answers are blocked.
